The perfect treat, that will make you have all the fall feels this season!!
I love these pumpkin balls because there are so many healthy fats within them, creating the perfect pre or post workout snack, everyday dessert, or a great dessert for your holiday party. Made with unsweetened pumpkin purée and so many different amazing spices to get you in the fall mood. I added in Reishi powder, a mushroom traditionally valued for supporting overall well-being through the winter months, alongside some warming spices such as cinnamon and ginger. Many of us crave warming foods and spices more than ever during these colder months — and what better way than pumpkin spice balls?
I hope you guys enjoy them as much as I do!!
Happy thanksgiving!

Frequently Asked Questions
What does Reishi taste like in a sweet recipe?
Reishi is naturally bitter and earthy. Paired with dates, pumpkin and warming spices like cinnamon and ginger, that bitterness rounds out rather than dominates.
How long do these keep?
Store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator and enjoy within about a week.
Are these a good pre- or post-workout snack?
They're built around walnuts, pumpkin seeds and dates, so they're rich in fats and naturally sweet — which is why they work well either side of a workout.
Can I make them nut-free?
Yes — swap the walnuts for additional pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds and process as directed.
