Ayurvedic Adaptogens
Ayurveda is the traditional medicine system of India, practiced for more than 3,000 years. Its herbs are traditionally taken daily, in small amounts, as tonics for balance and rejuvenation.
Our Ayurvedic herbs include Ashwagandha, Mucuna Pruriens and Triphala, the classic three-fruit formula, each as a cold water extract powder.
Several are also made as Transcendent Elixirs, liquid extracts preserved with grape alcohol and bio-active honey: Shatavari, Bacopa and Mucuna.

Questions, answered
Ayurveda is the traditional medicine system of India, practiced for more than 3,000 years. Its herbs are traditionally taken daily, in small amounts, as tonics for balance and rejuvenation.
Ashwagandha, sometimes called Indian Ginseng, is the classic adaptogen, traditionally valued for balance and resilience. Mucuna (velvet bean, known in Ayurveda as Kapikacchu) is traditionally used for a balanced mood and motivation. Triphala, the three-fruit blend of Amalaki, Bibhitaki and Haritaki, is traditionally used for digestive balance. Shatavari is a nourishing, cooling rejuvenation tonic, and Bacopa (Brahmi) is classically associated with study, contemplation and a settled mind.
In Ayurveda, a rasayana is a rejuvenating tonic enjoyed consistently over long periods rather than occasionally. Mucuna is classified as a rasayana, and Shatavari has long been treasured as a daily rejuvenation tonic.
Ashwagandha: ½ teaspoon in warm water or tea, or in milk potions, elixirs and smoothies. Mucuna: about ½ teaspoon in water, smoothies, coffee or warm milk. Triphala: about ½ teaspoon in warm water, ideally in the evening. Transcendent Elixirs: one dropperful under the tongue or into any liquid.
The powders are single-ingredient and contain nothing else. The Transcendent Elixirs are liquid extracts, preserved with grape alcohol (20% by volume) and bio-active honey, so they are not vegan. The Mucuna Elixir is triple-extracted: water and alcohol together, supercritical CO₂, and the mineral ash of the wildcrafted bean added back in. Choose the powder for a daily spoonful, the elixir for a dropper you can take anywhere.
From India, where these herbs have traditionally grown. Our Ashwagandha is a cold-water extract of the root, a product of India. Our Mucuna comes from India, and our Triphala is grown and processed in India as a cold-water extract of the three fruits.
Yes. Every lot is third-party tested, and each powder is the herb and nothing else: no fillers, flow agents or added ingredients.
