Questions, answered
Nutrient-dense plants and algae enjoyed as whole-food powders: an easy way to add something green to a smoothie, a cup of tea or a morning ritual. Ours are Chlorella, Moringa, White Dragon Matcha and Ashitaba.
Chlorella is a single-celled freshwater green algae. Moringa is the leaf of a fast-growing tree, eaten as a daily green food across South Asia and East Africa for centuries. White Dragon Matcha is ceremonial-grade powdered green tea, the heart of the Japanese tea ceremony. Ashitaba is a leafy Japanese plant known as "tomorrow's leaf" because it grows back so quickly after it is cut.
Chlorella has a tough outer cell wall. Ours is processed with sound frequency to crack that wall, so what is inside the cell is available to you, then ground into a fine powder.
Our Chlorella is a product of Taiwan. Our Moringa is grown and shade-dried in India. Ashitaba is native to Japan's coastal regions and the Izu Islands; ours is grown sustainably in Taiwan. White Dragon Matcha is grown in Nara, Japan: it is Sun Potion's own blend, produced for us by a single tea farmer and kept as tencha (the steamed, de-stemmed leaf) in cold storage, then stone-ground into matcha as each order is prepared. We have sourced it from the same farm in Nara for about ten years.
Chlorella: 1 g in water or a smoothie. Moringa: 2 g in water, tea, smoothies, soups or dressings. Matcha: ½ teaspoon whisked into hot water or milk. Ashitaba: ½ teaspoon in matcha lattes, smoothies, teas or broths.
Yes. Green Adaptogen combines Chlorella with Suma root and Maca root in a single powder.
