Seaweed or sea vegetables are forms of algae that grow in the sea. They’re a food source for ocean life (like sea turtles) and range in color from red to green to brown to black.
Seaweed varieties are a natural source of iodine, along with a range of vitamins and minerals. With the state of our soil today, even beautiful produce carries fewer minerals than it did in years past, so I highly recommend incorporating more seaweed into your diet. Sprinkle some Kelp flakes onto your salad, add some Kombu to your soup, use Nori as a wrap instead of tortillas or make this tasty Wakame salad!!!

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Yin Power?
Yin Power is Sun Potion's blend of tonic herbs and adaptogens — here it goes straight into a tahini dressing and is sprinkled over the top.
Which seaweed should I use?
Dried wakame, soaked in hot water until soft. Kelp, kombu and nori are good everyday additions too.
Can I adjust the dressing?
Yes — more lemon for acidity, more maple for sweetness.
