PEARL + ROSE ALMOND MILK - Sun Potion

PEARL + ROSE ALMOND MILK

Almonds are a source of fatty acids, fiber, potassium, magnesium and protein, which makes them a wonderful food to integrate into your daily diet.

I created this beautifying almond milk as an elixir inspired by the ritual of Queen Cleopatra who poured donkey milk and rose petals into her bath. This elixir is traditionally valued for the skin, easy to make and it is absolutely divine happiness. You can integrate into your smoothie, latte, breakfast, or simply to satisfy your thirst.

"Pearl powder is a beauty superfood of excellence... A source of minerals such as calcium, zinc, iron, selenium and amino acids... a beauty food venerated by Taoist herbalists to support our inner and outer shine."

For this recipe, you will need...

Ingredients

1 cup almonds

3 cups filtered water

1 tsp. beet powder

1 tsp. rose water

1/4 tsp. Pearl

2 Medjool dates

1/4 tsp. Himalayan salt

2 probiotics capsules (optional)

Method

Soak the almonds the day before in filtered water (this softens and also activates the almonds)

The next day, pour the almonds in your high-speed blender and add the filtered water

Filter the mixture using your milk bag to extract as much almond milk as you can

Pour the almond milk into the blender, add the two dates, Himalayan salt, Pearl powder, beet powder and rose water

Blend one last time

Pour in a jar and keep it refrigerated for 3 days

You can keep the almond pulp for energy balls or flour for your pancakes. The subtle blend of Pearl powder, beet powder and rose water makes this Beautifying Milk both gourmet and nourishing — fit for a queen of Egypt...
