What is Reishi traditionally used for?
Reishi is a functional mushroom long revered in Taoist herbalism as a Shen tonic. It has been traditionally associated with a sense of calm, resilience to occasional stress, mental clarity, balance, and overall vitality.

Can Reishi be enjoyed daily?
Reishi mushroom—along with many other tonic herbs and adaptogens—can be enjoyed on a regular basis as part of a balanced lifestyle. It is traditionally valued as a nourishing daily food that supports overall wellness.

Can Reishi be consumed in its raw form?
Technically speaking, Reishi mushrooms can be eaten raw. However, they can be difficult to find fresh and may be too hard, chewy, or bitter to eat as food. It is generally more common to enjoy Reishi in powdered or extract form, which makes its naturally occurring compounds easier to incorporate into a wellness routine.
