WHITE DRAGON MATCHA & GINGER LATTE

Christy Ross has adapted one of our favorite recipes... a White Dragon Matcha Latte to include warming ingredients like ginger and dates to help promote a sense of calm and wellbeing, especially wonderful during these times. We invite you to recreate this incredible, potent, antioxidant-rich recipe and share with us!

Many of us are trying to reduce our dairy intake in order to have a less inflammatory diet and to help feed our earth in a more sustainable fashion. Because so many of us love our coffees and lattes, removing dairy in these warm & cozy drinks can be even harder. This happily addictive recipe below serves multiple purposes... decreasing our cravings for both dairy and caffeine. It’s a great one to add into your repertoire.

Oat milk is rich in dietary fiber - a specific type called beta-glucan, which is known to help lower levels of bad cholesterol. Oats are high in antioxidants. They can help with blood sugar control. And they are high in many vitamins & minerals: Manganese, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Copper, Iron, Zinc, Folate, Vitamin B1 (thiamin), and Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid).

Some matcha tea powder is a green tea that also contains monk fruit. Matcha is high in antioxidants, which means it helps detoxify the body. It is high in EGCG, which is a particular antioxidant that boosts your immune system and may help you lose weight and may help protect you against some diseases. Matcha has also been shown to enhance calm, boost memory and concentration, and increase energy levels and endurance. Sun Potion’s White Dragon Matcha is a glorious matcha that couldn’t be smoother or more healing.
