Say hello to your skin’s new favorite mask! This nourishing face mask provides numerous skin benefits including, gentle exfoliation, pore cleansing and skin tone revitalization. Quick and easy to put together this is a wonderful self-care ritual to add into your weekly routine!

Topical Benefits

Chlorella: Not only is chlorella a nutrient-packed superfood for the body, but these single-celled freshwater algae deeply nourish the skin too, by improving skin tone, restoring the production of collagen, and protecting against sun damage.  

Pearl powder: Pearl powder, which is mostly used in Chinese medicine, and has also been used historically in Ayurveda is beneficial to the skin - both when taken internally and applied topically. When applied to the skin, it is known to support wound healing, shrink pores, decrease redness, and also improve skin texture. 

Raw Honey: Honey has been used as a traditional natural healing remedy since ancient times. When applied topically, it can work wonders by calming, cleansing, and hydrating the skin. The natural enzymes present gently exfoliate by helping to remove any dead cells, and the antioxidant and anti-microbial properties clean out pores to purify the skin.

Pearl + Chlorella Face Mask


1 tsp. Chlorella

1/4 tsp. Pearl powder

1 tbsp. Bio-Active Honey 

1-3 tsp filtered water, or until desired consistency is reached


½ tsp baking soda, ½ tsp lemon, ½ tsp plain, organic yogurt (for deeper exfoliation & astringent effect) 




Place Chlorella and Pearl powder in a small bowl. Add water, starting with 1 tsp. at a time. Combine to form a thick mixture. Lastly mix in Bio-Active Honey & any additional ingredients.

Prepare the skin by steaming the face or use a warm, damp washcloth to open the pores. 

Apply the combined mixture to a well cleansed face. Cleansing with this cardamom cleanser or this honey bamboo facial scrub takes this skincare routine to the next level!
