A POTION A DAY WITH HOLISTIC NUTRITIONIST ANDIE KALIFER - Sun Potion

A POTION A DAY WITH HOLISTIC NUTRITIONIST ANDIE KALIFER

Hi everyone! I'm Andie, a holistic nutritionist from Toronto. Today I'm going to be taking you along with me. Let's get going!

8:00 a.m. - Chlorella water, followed by Adaptogenic Coffee

"I love spiking my coffee with adaptogens. Ashwagandha helps the body adapt to stress and makes me feel balanced and energetic."

"Coffee should always be organic to avoid harmful pesticides and herbicides (it's heavily sprayed otherwise). I always look for fair and direct trade coffee to support the farmer's and their families."

8:30 a.m. - Chia pudding with Chaga mushroom and fresh fruit

10:40 a.m. - Rainbow Superfood Salad with Green Goddess Dressing

"Fruits and vegetables get their unique colors from photochemical compounds. Not only are they beautiful in your fridge, they are beautifying within the body."

½ tsp. Bio-Active Honey

1 tsp. Green Adaptogen

"The best cooking oil: coconut, ghee, avocado oil (my favourite). These oils are less likely to rancify when heated."

"Extra virgin olive oil is one of the healthiest oils. It should not be used at very high temperatures. Butttt pour that oil all over your salads."
