ANANDAMIDE HOT CHOCOLATE - Sun Potion

ANANDAMIDE HOT CHOCOLATE

This hot chocolate recipe has quickly become one of my favorites. Made with raw cacao, Tocos (rice bran solubles), and Sun Potion’s Anandamide blend, it weaves into a creamy, nourishing elixir. Thick and velvety, this cacao drink is infused with adaptogenic herbs, functional mushrooms, and skin-supporting Tocos.

Cacao has been cherished for centuries. First enjoyed as a sacred beverage in Mesoamerica as far back as 1900 BC, it later became an important part of Aztec and Mayan rituals. In these traditions, cacao was seen as a symbol of life, fertility, and connection — often shared during ceremonies and honored as a sacred plant.

Today, we enjoy cacao not only for its rich flavor, but also as a way to slow down, create ritual, and connect more deeply with ourselves. Combined with Anandamide and Tocos, this hot chocolate is both a comforting indulgence and a nourishing treat.

Anandamide Hot Chocolate

 Ingredients

1 ½ cups water

2 tsp. hulled tahini (you can substitute for cashew or almond butter)

1 tbsp. raw cacao powder

1 tbsp. Sun Potion 'Anandamide' blend

1 tsp. Tocos

1 tsp. maple syrup (more or less to taste)

Large pinch sea salt

 Method

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend for 10-15 seconds. Transfer to a pot and gently heat up. Add more sweetener to taste if desired. Serve hot.
