A foamy hot chocolate with our adaptogenic Bliss Alchemy Anandamide blend and creamy Tocos for a warming, nourishing delight. We hope you in joy this perfect winter recipe by Iselin Støylen.

This hot chocolate recipe has quickly become my new favourite. Raw cacao, Tocos (rice bran solubles) and Sun Potion ‘Anandamide’ weaves into a beautiful and nourishing elixir. A thick and creamy cacao recipe, infused with adaptogenic herbs, medicinal mushrooms and skin-loving Tocos.

“It’s said that cacao was first used as a health elixir and ceremonial medicine as far back as 1900 BC by the ancestors of Central America, and then later it was used as a ritualistic medicine by the Aztec and Mayan cultures.

To these cultures, cacao signifies both life and fertility, and was therefore ingested by the royalty in ceremonial God worship, and in sacrificial ritual.

According to both archeologists and Mayan spiritual elders, the Cacao Spirit was one of the most powerful deities in ancient Mayan cosmology.”

Anandamide Hot Chocolate

1 ½ cups water

2 tsp. hulled tahini (you can substitute for cashew or almond butter)

1 tbsp. raw cacao powder

1 tbsp. Sun Potion 'Anandamide' blend

1 tsp. Tocos

1 tsp. maple syrup (more or less to taste)

Large pinch sea salt

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend for 10-15 seconds. Transfer to a pot and gently heat up. Add more sweetener to taste if desired. Serve hot.

Iselin Amanda Støylen

Hi there, my name is Iselin.
I like putting flowers in my food, reading books (often the same ones over and over) and sharing my passion for holistic lifestyle practices. I feel most at peace when I spend my days surrounded by nature. Forest walks. Creek swims. Ocean dips… I like to eat foods that are close to the Earth — bursting with energy, flavour and nutrition. I spend much of my ‘spare’ time simply sitting in silence, moving my body on my yoga mat, immersed in creative projects or creating delicious food in the kitchen..

I am a registered yoga teacher, IIN (Institute for Integrative Nutrition) Health Coach and cookbook author. At the moment I am completing my education as a birth and postpartum doula, breastfeeding counsellor and childbirth educator. I am passionate about helping women understand their bodies' innate wisdom, find harmony within themselves and support them on their journey of optimising health and true wellbeing in all aspects of life. You can find me at, where I share recipes, thoughts, articles and more.
