LIQUID GOLD SMOOTHIE - Sun Potion

LIQUID GOLD SMOOTHIE

Your perfect spring glowing smoothie is here! I was inspired to create a recipe when one of my neighbors dropped off lots of citrus from their tree the other day. When the days are warm and the sun is shining bright, one of my favorite ways to get lots of nutrients and cool down all at the same time is a yummy smoothie. I’ll throw anything I have in the kitchen into a blender and sip on it while laying in the sun.

For this recipe, I decided to add in Lion's Mane, a functional mushroom traditionally used to support mental clarity and a balanced mood.

During this time at home, I’m spending time connecting with loved ones, reading books that inspire me and getting all the sun I can. When it comes to my daily routine, I’ve really been focusing on nourishing foods and trying to move my body at least once a day. I’ve found that not only do I feel better physically, but I’m also in a way better mood for the rest of the day. There are so many wonderful whole foods that are super easy to add into your daily routine, Lion's Mane being one of my favorites. I love how easy it is to add into smoothies, coffee or any tonic that you desire.

This smoothie has turmeric, maca, ginger and Lion's Mane. All wonderful and so tasty — I promise it tastes like a dole whip that you used to eat when you were a kid, but without all the additives and with a little extra goodness.
