Christy Halvorson Ross is the founder of littlegreen.me, which runs conscious and nourishing plant-forward wellness programs promoting a healthy individual and a thriving earth. She is a self-taught, enthusiastic and experimental chef, recipe developer, and food photographer. Christy practices yoga and pilates and loves spending time walking in the woods near her house in Washington, D.C., as well as cooking with plants and doing any form of art.
Her journey into the world of nutrition is a personal one. In 2007 she began caring for her mother through a long illness, and that experience shaped the path she has followed ever since. She has been immersed in nutrition research for well over a decade.
Christy is a holistic health coach, certified through the Association of Drugless Practitioners. She completed certification at Cornell University in Nutrition and Healthy Living (November 2019). Her initial training is from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in NYC (2012) and The Raw Food Institute (2012).
